Angels Among Us helps families of children battling cancer by attempting to reduce the amount of stress in their lives so that they can focus more of their attention on their children. We attempt to accomplish this by not only providing financial assistance, but by also fostering a sense of community and providing needed resources/information.

In an effort to gather useful resources and information, we are constantly talking to families, doctors, and anyone with knowledge of cancer. Much of this information is displayed on our website in our Community section, but we do include additional tips and advice in our quarterly newsletters. The first two ways we help are somewhat intertwined. We spend a great deal of time fundraising by hosting a variety of events. These events serve to raise awareness and provide a great environment for families to mingle and enjoy themselves. At the same time, we use these events to raise money that we can then use to financially assist families in need. Fundraising is one of the main ways that we raise money along with direct donations from corporations and individuals.
