There are many ways to help at Angels Among Us. You can work one of our events, sell raffle tickets, solicit donations, help with light clerical work, or almost anything else. The opportunities are many, all you need is a desire to help, and we will find a place for you.
Not ready to volunteer, no problem. Ample opportunities will be available in the future. In the meantime, please take some time to peruse our website, or maybe you can drop by one of our events to see us in action. Just taking some time to learn about us, or mentioning us to your friends is a great help, and we appreciate it.
If you are ready to volunteer now, take a look at the categories below, and pick the one that will work best for you. There is contact information next to each category, so when you are ready, please send your information (name, phone, email, etc.) along with a few words on how you would like to help to the contact provided. Angels Among Us Guild was formed to assist with awareness and fundraising efforts for the organization. The Guild was formed in 2009 and was active in supporting the JEO golf event held in July, the Gala "Laugh with the Angels" in November , the wine tasting, "Cheers to the Angels" in February, and supplied volunteers for various small fundraising events Angels Among Us was involved in.
Guild meetings are held monthly with the summer months as a break. There is a Guild board consisting of five officers called the Executive committee. March of 2010 the Guild started a successful annual wine tasting event held at Champions Country Club. The other events will again be the annual Angels Amoug Us Charity Golf Outing and the annual fund raiser "An Evening with the Angels" to be held in November.
